I have been Launched! After a couple days of last minute training and reviewing of Training Camp, l’m now sitting at the airport waiting to fly to Indonesia!
These past few days of Launch have been the exact combination of conviction and encouragementI needed before serving overseas for a year. Reuniting with my squad and hearing from the Lord was amazing! But by far the greatest admiration that I’m where I’m supposed to be happened in the most unexpected setting.
Last night of Launch, everything packed, casually watching my roommates pack while trying to get some sleep before my alarm goes off at 2:17am. These were two men from another squad, whom I will be serving separated from. In an almost fleeting thought, they asked what I and my team needed prayer for. Feeling the Holy Spirit’s presence as they called in Jesus’ name to bless me snd my team was special enough. But the true miracle happened afterwards.
Being the polite brother in Christ that I am, I returned the question and asked what they and their teams needed prayer for. One had a physical pain that had caused him terrible suffering all during Launch; bad enough that he fully intended to visit the doctor during his first layover. No joke, the pain was gone by the time I’d finished praying. Completely healed, just like that! We were all ecstatic for the rest of the night and couldn’t contain our joy.
Haven’t even left the hotel and I’m already seeing actual miracles. Hearing stories from alumni Racers have been great, but nothing compares to seeing with your own eyes God’s workings. I cannot wait to see what God will be doing places like Nepal or Africa.
Never before have l been more enthusiastic to serve God!
Thank you for sharing! We will be praying for your travels! So exciting!
What a wonderful report! So excited for you for all that lies ahead.

Hi Josiah! I will try this again for the third time. Glad to hear what God is doing even before you leave us. God is an awesome God! Praying God will continue to do wonders in your lives and in the lives on those in Asia and Africa. Praying for and the team and squad. God bless!
