“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” – Hebrews 6:10

As training camp draws ever closer with Launch just a few short months later I’m finding that I’m still overwhelmingly unprepared and in need of help. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned during this whole thing is that I’ve got a solid community eager to offer a hand wherever possible. If you feel led to help me out as I prepare to serve God’s Kingdom on the World Race, here are some of the biggest ways you can do that:

Number One, pray, pray, pray! “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” – 1 John 5:14. Pray for me without ceasing, please. I’m going to need divine help during 2020 like I’ve never needed it before. Be praying for safety, health, that I’ll be a blessing to others, and accomplish His will.

Number Two, donating. “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” – Proverbs 11:25. Right now the main thing is money. Even just a dollar would be helpful and a tremendous blessing to me. But even if you can’t give money, there are still many things I need to buy yet that if you could spare for a year would be great. I need the following before training camp in mid-October:

A day pack. A two-person, freestanding tent. A lightweight rain jacket. Headlamp.

If you’re willing to part with any of these for a year let me know. My email is [email protected] and my number is 515-306-5510

Number Three, wise counselling. “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” – Proverbs 11:14. Full disclosure, I have no idea what I’m doing. If you have any tips on missions or traveling, or knowledge on any of the countries I’ll be serving in, or any pieces of information that you think would be helpful to know I’d welcome hearing it.

Thank you everyone who has already helped me in any way as I prepare for the World Race, and to all y’all who will in the future. Y’all are stellar, and may God bless you.
