During Training Camp I kept a journal for the first time. I read through it and all my notes from the countless speakers this morning and thought there was no way I could not share some of it with the world, so here are twenty quotes from my journal: 

1. God is love, and as His son I am to love every single person I come into contact with.

2. C Squad is straight up awesome.

3. Ministry is life; life is ministry

4. Coasting is the default position of the human soul, and is the worst place to be in spiritually.

5. Following Christ is never easy, and that's what makes it so great!

6. Let God wreck your heart.

7. The Holy Spirit is more amazing and more influential in my life than I'll ever understand.

8. Who cares about the eleven months I'll spend on the World Race? There's still the rest of eternity afterwards.

9. God is building His Kingdom whether I help or not, but in love He's chosen me as His vessel.

10. The Kingdom is wherever God has put my feet.

11. Apparently I can whoop very loudly.

12. Are you willing to be a servant even if you're treated like one?

13. We tend to ask God, "Why are you letting this tragedy happen?" He could very well ask us the same question.

14. When the Holy Spirit convicts you, the only correct response is, "Yes."

15. The end goal: join God, in His mission, for His purpose, forever.

16. Prayer works!!!

17. God cannot die, cannot do wrong, and cannot remember a believer's sin.

18. You need a community who loves you, not a community impressed by your feats.

19. Sisters-in-Christ are legit.

20. The guys are pretty cool too, I guess.
