This week I got the opportunity to join the Bold Family Camp (psst! Go check out the new Bold Acts ministry) in Georgia with several other homeschooling families. It was truly an amazing few days of fun activities like kayaking and exploring Civil War forts, but what made it noteworthy was that it was my last big adventure before I leave the country. In one week from today I’ll be leaving for Launch!

I’m very excited to go and serve in new places and new ways for a year, but it hit me this week just how much I’m going to miss my home. I’m straight up not looking forward to being separated from my family and community here.

Honestly I have very little to say right now, but I wanted to let y’all know that I’m still alive and well. Very excited for the World Race and can’t wait for the opportunities God’s going to provide in it. These final few days at home are going to be devoted to goodbyes so prayer for emotional strength would be great!
